We have now completed our planned Covid vaccination programme, anyone who still needs a Covid vaccination and who is entitled must go on-line Find a walk-in COVID-19 vaccination site - NHS
Flu Vaccinations
Eligible for vaccination from 1st September 2025
- pregnant women
- all children aged 2 or 3 years on 31 August 2024
- all children in clinical risk groups aged from 6 months to less than 18 years
Eligible for vaccination from 1st October 2025
- those aged 65 years and over
- those aged 18 years to under 65 years in clinical risk groups
- those in long-stay residential care homes
- carers in receipt of carer’s allowance, or those who are the main carer of an elderly or disabled person
- household contacts of immunocompromised individuals
- frontline health and social care workers
COVID Vaccination - No further Covid vaccination Clinics at Sedbergh Medical Practice. See Link above to find a drop-in service.
The COVID-19 vaccine will be offered to the following eligible groups this autumn/winter from 1 October 2025 to 31 January 2026:
· Adults aged 75 years and over (not 65 and over as in previous campaigns)
· Residents in care homes for older adults
· Individuals who are immunosuppressed
NB: Health & Social Care frontline workers are NOT eligible for COVID-19 vaccine this campaign.
Week commencing 6th October 2025 – Walk-in service (FLU vaccinations ONLY) - No appointment necessary.
Walk – in service available Monday – Friday (10.30am -6.30pm there could be a short wait if you attend during lunchtime) please note the vaccine may be administered in the waiting room.
Please note that the walk-in service is for FLU vaccinations ONLY.

Specialist Weight Management Support in Lancashire & South Cumbria
Specialist weight management support in Lancashire and South Cumbria (June 2025).
The new weight management medication, Tirzepatide (brand name Mounjaro®), will be available to NHS patients nationally from 23 June.
In Lancashire and South Cumbria, while some people may currently qualify for the medication based on national eligibility criteria, it will NOT BE AVAILABLE LOCALLY just yet. Please do not contact your GP as they are currently unable to help. Follow the link for more information
